Position Summary:

Evergreen Contracting & Irrigation, is looking for an Installation Technician to join our team! We are looking for someone who is punctual, teachable, a team player and a hard worker. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 7am to 4pm. The daily activities will vary based on job site and tasks needed to be completed. The Installation Technician will report to the Job-site Foreman, which will vary based on who is in charge of the Job-site. This position is an entry level position and does not require prior knowledge or experience with installation of irrigation systems or lighting systems, but prior experience is a plus.

Core Responsibilities

The core responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited too:

• Labor

• Digging Holes
• Laying Pipe
• Backfilling Trenches
• Driving a Work Vehicle(ClassC)
• Cleanup and More

As the Installation Technician gains experience the responsibilities will also include:

• Installing Heads, Valves, Lights, Wiring, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

• Plumbing Experience
• Electrical Experience
• Landscape Experience
• Construction Experience

​

Qualifications:

• Age-18+
• Must have a Class C Drivers License
• Must Pass a D.O.T. Drug Test
• Willingness to travel(often travels to New Jersey)

The Installation Technician will be supporting both companies, Evening Shadows Lighting and Evergreen Irrigation. The main company location is based in the Hershey, PA area. However, both companies are not limited too, but support the following areas:

• Berks County
• Camp Hill
• Dauphin County
• Harrisburg
• Hershey
• Lancaster
• Lancaster County • Mechanicsburg
• Perry County
